Our Ministries

At Central, we are learning to love like God loves and follow the way of Jesus together. We believe that faith grows best in community, so we offer a variety of ways to learn, serve, and build relationships.

Wherever you are in life, there is a place for you here.

Children & Youth Ministry

CHILDREN

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sundays | 9:30-10:30am

Throughout the year, we host special events for children and families, including Easter celebrations, Fall Festival, Children’s Sundays, and Advent gatherings.

OTHER GATHERINGS

Sundays | 11:00am

Children are always welcome in worship, just as they are. We know that kids don’t always sit still or stay quiet–and that’s okay. Their presence is part of what makes our community whole.

During the sermon, children are invited to leave for Children’s Church and will return before the closing hymn. Activity bags are available outside the sanctuary to help them stay engaged.

WORSHIP

YOUTH

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sundays | 9:30-10:30am

Sundays | 11:00am

Students are encouraged to be part of worship, whether that means sitting with family or helping lead through prayer, scripture, or other parts of the service.

WORSHIP

Sundays | 5:00-7:00pm

Table Talk is a space for students to share a meal, talk about their week, and explore faith together. Some evenings include Bible study and discussion, while others are more relaxed with games, art, or off-campus activities.

It’s a place to be known, ask questions, and build real friendships.

Adult Ministry

Sundays | 9:30-10:30am

We offer a variety of classes for adults, each with its own focus and style. Some are centered on Bible study, while others are more discussion-based or topic-driven.

If you’re not sure where to start, stop by the Welcome Center on Sunday morning–we’d be glad to help you find a group that fits.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Wednesdays | 6:00pm

On Wednesday evenings, we gather for Bible study or guided discussion around a book or topic. These gatherings are a chance to slow down, reflect, and learn together in a more informal setting.

This group takes a break during the summer, so be sure to check the calendar for current dates.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

Senior Adult Ministry

1st and 3rd Tuesdays | 10:00am

Central Connections is a ministry led by seniors, for seniors. Each gathering begins with prayer and a short devotional, followed by time for games, conversation, and fellowship.

During the school year, lunch is provided for a small cost, and in the summer months, everyone is invited to bring their own. It’s a simple, welcoming space to connect and spend time together.

CENTRAL CONNECTIONS

Mission Ministry

JESUS AND THE PROPHETS CALL US TO GOD’S JUSTICE

We believe our faith calls us to care for our neighbors in real, practical ways. One of the main ways we do this is by partnering with local organizations that are already doing meaningful work in our community.

If you’re interested in serving, we would love to help you find a place to get involved.

BROKEN LOAVES FOOD PANTRY

We are blessed to offer one of the largest food pantries in Chesterfield, offering canned goods, refrigerated items, and toiletries. To help us with this work, we partner with CCHASM, FeedMore, and Meals on Wheels. For information about receiving assistance, or to inquire about volunteering, contact us.

WEDNESDAYS | 7:00-8:00PM

PROVIDENCE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

We partner with our local elementary school to offer needed food and school supplies for students, supplies and care for our teachers, and volunteers for other requested need.

C.A.R.I.T.A.S.

We offer support through collections for the furniture bank, which offers furniture, pots and pans, linens, and other items needed for new housing. For a list of needed items, check out our weekly newsletter.

WEDNESDAYS

Get Involved

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you jump in.

Sometimes the best way to find your place is simply to show up, try something new, and see where you connect.
